Mercury Mambo Launches Outdoor Influencer Network

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the new Outdoor Influencer Network (OIN), a database and community of multicultural digital influencers with a passion for outdoor adventure. OIN,  the first ever of its kind that exists within the more than $646 Billion outdoor recreation industry, is designed to connect brands to multicultural outdoor enthusiasts and athletes that are thirsty for new outdoor experiences and looking to create new family traditions.

OIN has a membership that includes a strong representation of multicultural Millennials.  There are more than 22.7 Million of individuals within this segment and they boast spending power that exceeds $780 Million. OIN members make their purchasing decisions based on experiences rather than things, and until now, have not had a forum to align with other outdoor enthusiasts and share experiences from adventures, places, or brands.

The OIN brand advocates will have the opportunity to share their adventures with online followers, in fun and unique ways.   Members will be providing meaningful experiences and consumer perspective within the outdoor industry that will touch on technology, retail (products/services), lifestyle and diversity.

As part of this effort, Mambo has partnered with Influencer Intelligence Platform NeoReach to power our search and analytics. NeoReach’s powerful tools will allow us to apply sophisticated analytics to our OIN campaigns further validating the power of the Latino market and the power of influencers.

As long-time outdoor enthusiasts, Liz and I couldn’t be happier to bring the network to life. We are fortunate to be able to marry our passions for marketing, supporting our communities and the outdoors into this agency effort. One of the things we are most excited about is the opportunity to support the work of great organizations such as Latino Outdoors, Black Girls Run, Afro OutdoorHECHO: Hispanic Enjoying Camping, Hunting and the Outdoors and more. Through the OIN, we will be able to bring additional awareness of their tremendous efforts to the attention of both outdoor enthusiasts and brands alike.
