Mercury Mambo is so excited for Fall TV that we had to craft our Top 10 Picks for you! There are so many new and returning television shows from horror, comedy, thrillers, science fiction to romance that picking just 10 was a challenge; so we promise this list is comprised of the must-watch and most anticipated. 

1. Scandal, September 25, 9:00 – 10:00PM CT:
We are all dying to know what will happen next between Olivia and Mr. President. 
Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) is a former White House Communications Director for the President of the United States who has left to start her own crisis management firm, Olivia Pope & Associates. Olivia has decided to dedicate her life to protecting the public images of the nation’s elite but is finding that no matter how hard she tries, she cannot leave parts of her past behind.”

2. How To Get Away With MurderSeptember 25, 10:00 – 11:00PM CT:
We are dying with suspense – who and how will they get caught?! “Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) is a prominent law professor and criminal defense attorney at Middleton University. She selects five students to intern at her firm: Wes Gibbons, Connor Walsh, Michaela Pratt, Asher Millstone, and Laurel Castillo. They work with Annalise’s employees, Frank Delfino and Bonnie Winterbottom, an associate lawyer. As Season 1 introduces occasional clients for Keating, it explores two significant murders through flashbacks: Lila Stangard, mistress of Annalise’s husband Sam Keating and a student at Middleton; and then Sam Keating at the hands of Annalise’s interns.”

Mc Dreamy is dead, now what? “The series has aired eleven seasons, and focuses on the fictional lives of surgical interns and residents as they gradually evolve into seasoned doctors, while trying to maintain personal lives and relationships.The series was created to be racially diverse, utilizing a color-blind casting technique.”

4. EmpireSeptember 23, 9:00 – 8:00PM CT:
We’re at the edge of our sofas wanting to know what’s next now that the the Queen Bee is in control, or not? “An 
 American drama television series which debuted on Fox on January 7, 2015. It centers on a hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, and the drama among the members of the founders’ family as they fight for control of the company. The show was created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, and stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson.”

5. American Horror Story: HotelOctober 7:

n American horror television series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Described as an anthology series, each season is conceived as a self-contained miniseries, following a disparate set of characters and settings, and a storyline with its own “beginning, middle, and end.” “American Horror Story: Hotel features an all-star cast of Lady Gaga, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Chloë Sevigny, Denis O’Hare, Cheyenne Jackson, Evan Peters and Finn Wittrock.”

6. Scream Queens, September 22,  7:00 – 8:00PM CT: NEW SHOW ALERT
We have Glee Cast premiering in this show 🙂 Scream Queens is an upcoming American horror-comedy anthology television series created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. The first season will be centered on a series of murders involving the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority.”

7. Superstore September 22:  NEW SHOW ALERT
Our girl America Ferrera is in this one! “The series takes place at a multi-super-sized mega store called “Cloud 9,” where the employees, interns, and their supervisors, find themselves dealing with the customers and each other. In-between the chaos, some come to work in order to make a better life, while some will do whatever it takes to succeed, and for a couple of fellow workers, it could lead to something romantic.”

8. Black-ish, September 24, 9:30 – 10:00PM CT:

n American sitcom starring Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, that debuted on ABC during the 2014–15 television season.The single-camera comedy centers on an upper-middle-class African-American family.”

9. Cristela, October 10, 8:30 – 9:00PM  CT:
It’s back, wohoo!The series chronicles the life of Cristela Hernandez, a Mexican-American law school graduate living in Dallas, Texas, who must balance her chance to live the American Dream by working as an unpaid intern at a law firm with the concerns of her family, including her sister Daniela (who thinks she should get a paying job), her brother-in-law Felix (who thinks of her as a freeloader), and her mother Nathalia (who wants her to settle down and marry).”

10. Heroes RebornSeptember 24, 7:00 – 8:00PM CT: NEW SHOW ALERT
If you were a fan of Heroes five years ago I know you are fired up to see this one too! 
This is an upcoming 13-episode miniseries and is a continuation of the NBC science fiction serial drama series Heroes. The miniseries would ‘reconnect with the basic elements of the show’s first season’ in which ordinary people discovered that they had special abilities. The show will be preceded by a new digital series that introduces the new characters and storylines around which Heroes Reborn is centered.”
