Mercury Mambo Gives Back With Service in 2014

For Mercury Mambo, 2014 was a big year. It was our quinceañera, we turned 15, and we were fortunate to work with some great clients and folks. As part of our celebration, we wanted to give back to the Austin community that’s given so much to us, this is a recap of some of our volunteer efforts in 2014.

Thanks everyone, here’s to more great things in 2015!

Liz Arreaga and Daniela Lopez volunteered wrapping gifts to support Lil Paws Maltese Rescue.

Our creative director Paulina Artieda fostered a few dogs this year, included our offices’ beloved Charlie.

Our digital gal Sara Inés Calderón volunteered her savvy for the DIY Girls fundraiser in Los Angeles.

Mambo intern Stephanie Palos was involved with her local sorority: On Monday, December 8, Sigma Delta Lambda Sorority, Inc. from The University of Texas – Austin co-hosted a Lonestar Christmas. We attended Zavala Elementary School where we organized interactive activities for kindergarteners, they had the opportunity to meet Santa Claus, and received gifts to enjoy the holiday spirit. Many children don’t have the opportunity to open a gift on Christmas morning, so Sigma Delta Lambda Sorority, Inc. wanted to be the ones to give the children some happiness.

Another Mambo intern, Pamela Patino, shared a photo from volunteering with her sister for Adopt A Highway. We were picking up trash on the side of a highway in San Marcos.
